Solbari x Forever Projects: Empowering Women, Protecting Futures

At Solbari, our mission goes beyond sun protection. We believe in creating meaningful impact on people and the planet. That’s why we’re were proud to partner with Forever Projects, a purpose-led organisation on a mission to end the orphan crisis in Tanzania.

Forever Projects’ locally-led programs support mothers living in extreme poverty to access nutrition and crisis care, skills training, and business capital to build lasting independence.

In July, a group of Forever Projects fundraisers embarked on an inspiring journey, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds and awareness for the program. Along the way, they were protected from the intense African sun with Solbari’s UPF 50+ products, including our Technical Bucket Hat. We were honoured to support the team not just with sun protective apparel, but also with financial contributions to help fund Forever Projects’ programs.

Thanks to their incredible efforts, more than $123,000 was raised, enough to empower 100 women to join Forever Projects’ programs. These women will receive support over 12 months that starts with their most immediate needs like nutrition, clothing, and housing, followed by health and skills training, then coaching and capital to set up their own business to create ongoing income.

This partnership reflects a shared belief in the power of prevention, sustainable impact, and supporting communities to thrive. By equipping women with the tools they need to build a better future, Forever Projects is creating long-term change.
