"This hat is lightweight and robust. I like the darker colour underneath the brim for best shade. The brim does not contact the back of shoulders, which can be a nuisance with some hats; and there is sufficent stiffness to allow shaping if desired. The bowl of this hat is a good depth too. Overall an excellent design, fit for purpose. I'm very happy with this purchase, thank you!"

I dislike the look, venting and limited protection of a ball cap, I like the look of a visor but no protection for the top of my head was a concern. "Wore this hat for the full day outdoors, gardening, shopping, walking. It was light, cool and comfortable. The brim is wide enough to offer coverage but not so wide that your peripheral vision is obstructed. I never felt like I needed to take it off. It was a very windy day but the draw string kept it on my head without feeling too tight. When the wind died down I loosened it easily. Very happy with this purchase."
